Proper tightness of the ignition key is important:
1. The inspector will check each scooter to make sure the ignition
key is properly tightened.
2. Turning the key and applying pressure as it is turned can easily
check this. If you notice that the ignition switch turns or moves
when you turn the key to the on or off position and you put some
pressure on it then that scooter will be rejected until the ignition
is tightened up properly.
3. The above picture shows how the factory worker tightens the ignition
switch.
4. The inspector should check each scooter. Very often we get scooters
with loose ignition switches and when the user tries to turn the
key on, the ignition switch just spins. Each switch must be properly
tight.
